SPAN 01

Spot the infringement.
Draft the defence.

↳ annotation: fixed law, AI edges, human sign-off

01 / The Challenge

Every festival season, infringers ride MOJO’s brands: counterfeit merch, ambush marketing, unauthorized ticket giveaways. Legal researches each report and writes the cease-and-desist by hand, at 1 to 2 hours per case and up to 9 reports in a single festival night.

02 / The Protocol

We built Brand Shield, a 9-stage pipeline that reads the evidence, identifies the company in the trade register, and drafts a defensible letter. Carolien only reviews and sends. The legal core stays fixed; AI adapts only the situational edges of each case.

9-STAGE PIPELINE

One report goes in; one reviewable draft comes out, across nine stages. The legal grounds are quoted verbatim from a locked library; the model only adapts the situational wording. And when it can’t identify the company with certainty, it stops and hands the case to a human rather than guess.

Why the Law Stays Fixed

Dutch trademark and contract law gives MOJO strong grounds: art. 2.20 BVIE for the marks, the ticket terms with their €10,000 and €5,000 penalties. But every cease-and-desist still had to be researched and written by hand. Who is the company behind the brand name, what is their registered entity, where do you even send it.

Brand Shield keeps the legal core fixed and lets AI adapt only the edges. Statutes are quoted verbatim from a locked library; the model reads the evidence and drafts the situational wording, but never invents facts. The company name and address always come from the official trade register, never the model, so a confident letter never names the wrong party.

AI Vision Intake

Reads the uploaded screenshots and classifies the infringement type. If it can't read the evidence, it routes to manual review. No letter.

Register-Backed Lookup

Company name and address always come from the official Chamber of Commerce register, never the model. Not confident? Left blank, never a guess.

Fixed-Law Letter Engine

Statutes quoted verbatim; AI adapts only the situational wording. MOJO and Festivals Limburg letterheads, as PDF and editable Word.

Field Report

“During festival season the reports pile up, up to nine in one night, and that’s exactly when I have the least time. The letters used to get written at night, on my laptop. Now a draft is already waiting. I read it and send.”
